Dr.Charles Edmond
For me it is easy to come to work, because I enjoy doing what I do. It is incredibly gratifying to be able to provide care and counsel to my patients. We have a great specialty in that we see the full gamut of age from birth to the elderly. We provide medical expertise with a focus on the ears nose and throat and do an assortment of surgeries from minor procedures to very complex operations. So for me its really not work when you love doing what you do.
Outside of the office, music has a special place in my life. Maybe it comes from my father who was in the Army band for 23 years. I love jazz, blues and R&B. Of late, my dream has been to learn jazz guitar. I am presently being self-taught, mostly because of the time constraints of being a surgeon. Eventually, I would like to take some lessons.
My second love (other than my wife) is my love of the small German automobiles. There is only one and it is the Porsche. Maybe it's the style, or maybe it's the engineering or maybe it's that the car is just a heck of a lot of fun to drive.
And lastly I am fond of aesthetic beauty, whether it be in clothes, building, art or nature. I dabble with acrylic and oil painting. I enjoy fine woodworking, and I am in the process of putting together my new wood shop. My future goal is to start building acoustic and arch top guitars as a hobby. I love to sew, and have made multiple evening gowns for my wife as well as curtains for our first house. I find cooking to be the most relaxing task that I do. I have to workout on a regular basis so that I can continue to eat the way I do.
I have been truly blessed, and I try and share with others thru my blessings.
